Community, Connections & Creativity
Community has always been one of the greatest joys in my life. Some of my closest friendships began in grade school and continue to this day. Those lifelong relationships have taught me the value of trust, kindness, and taking the time to truly get to know people. They continue to shape both my personal and professional life.
Highway 50 Insurance Resource is more than a place to learn about insurance. It's also a place to celebrate and support the people, businesses, professionals, and organizations that make the Highway 50 corridor such a great place to live and work.
Through Chamber of Commerce involvement, local business networking, nonprofit service, educational opportunities, and partnerships with community organizations, I've had the privilege of building genuine relationships along the way. Many of those connections inspire both my writing in The Creative Road and who I'll be recognizing through Community Spotlight.
Creativity is another way I enjoy bringing people together. Through TuneStone Jewelry, I host jewelry-making workshops at local wineries, restaurants, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and private gatherings. Whether it's a team-building event, client appreciation gathering, a women's group, or simply time spent with friends, the goal is always the same, to create something fun while enjoying the company of others.
I believe creativity helps us slow down to see things from a different perspective. Whether through education, community involvement, or creativity, I hope you'll find something here that informs, inspires, or simply brings a smile to your day.
